We know it can be uncomfortable setting foot in a brand new place—let alone a church. We’re glad you’re here though.
At the Church of Christ at Grissom you will be welcomed into a friendly environment by people who are excited to see you. We want you to have an idea of what to expect when you arrive at our church building. All you have to do from here is show up as you are and find out more for yourself.
At a Sunday service, you can expect:
- Each service to last between 60 - 70 minutes.
- A thought-provoking and engaging message from the Bible.
- Worship songs aimed at glorifying God and inspiring His people to live the message daily.
- We invite all immersed believers in Jesus Christ to share in our time of communion.
- If you are a guest, please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering.

Our worship service is on Sunday at 10:00am and lasts about 60-70 minutes.
We also have Sunday School at 9 AM, a Sunday evening service at 6 PM, and a Wednesday evening Bible study at 6:30 PM.

We have a casual atmosphere. If you like wearing jeans and a t-shirt or a suit and tie, you will fit in here on a Sunday morning. We hope that you don’t worry about what you’re wearing and just come as you are.

When you arrive on Sunday morning, you will be greeted by one of our volunteers who can answer your questions or direct you to someone who can. Do not be afraid to ask them for help. That’s what they’re here for!

We love families. We work hard to provide fun, safe, and excellent programming where kids can learn about God.
Our Children’s Ministry is for children ages 12 and under and takes place during our 10 AM Service each Sunday.
We offer a Nursery at 10 AM on Sunday morning for infants - age 3.
A nursing mother’s room is available in Room #7.
Children will be dismissed at the beginning of the sermon to their classes.
Wee Worship is for ages 4 - 7 and meets in Room #2.
Jr. Church is for ages 8 - 12 and meets in Room # 1.

We believe the Bible and that it’s our single constant source of truth. We believe that it’s all about Jesus, about reaching out to people wherever they are in life, and moving them closer to Him.
We’re simply a church that follows Jesus—We try not to complicate it. We simply follow the Bible and its instructions.
